Dr Shandy Vijayan qualified from Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2010. She later returned as a clinical lecturer and has been teaching the future generation of dentists since 2015 part time. She is a passionate educator, and this follows through in her consultations in general practice.

Her commitment to continuous professional development is outstanding therefore you can trust you are getting the best care. She has a passion for education and is involved in promoting better oral health to the local schools and nurseries. She is an advocate for preventative dentistry and will work to ensure you stay healthy and happy and help reach your long term oral health goals. Her interest in minimally invasive dentistry, involves treatments such as cosmetic bonding, minimally invasive veneer, whitening and Invisalign.

She has obtained her Diploma in Periodontics (gum treatment) and is also completing her Diploma in restorative and aesthetic dentistry. She enjoys providing patients with the most modern aesthetic and cosmetic dentistry. With an exceptional talent for creating beautiful, unique smiles, Shandy commits herself to use state of the art materials and great techniques. Shandy always takes time to explain all treatment options to patients to ensure that they are fully informed regarding their treatment.

She endeavours to provide pain-free, comfortable treatment in a relaxed and friendly environment. Her friendly, gentle manner has made her popular with patients, especially those who suffer from dental phobia. Away from dentistry she loves to travel and enjoys fine dining. She is a married and a mother to two beautiful daughters. She enjoys dancing and spending time with her family and friends creating memories!
