Dr Sarika Shah is the Founder and Principal Dentist at Platinum Dental Care in Canary Wharf. With over 19 years of clinical experience in general, restorative and cosmetic dentistry, she is highly regarded for her clinical precision, gentle approach and commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Sarika graduated from the University of Manchester in 2006 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) before completing a prestigious Master’s Degree in Restorative Dentistry at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute in 2014. Her postgraduate training reflects her dedication to advanced clinical excellence, minimally invasive dentistry and lifelong learning.
She has a particular passion for aesthetic dentistry and has undertaken extensive postgraduate training in Invisalign, composite bonding, teeth whitening and smile makeovers. As an experienced Invisalign provider with over 14 years of experience in clear aligner therapy, Sarika has successfully treated more than 1,000 Invisalign patients and has been recognised as an Invisalign Diamond Provider. She enjoys creating beautiful, natural-looking smiles while always prioritising long-term oral health and the preservation of natural tooth structure.
Alongside cosmetic dentistry, Sarika has developed a special interest in the diagnosis and management of temporomandibular disorders (TMD), jaw pain and clenching. She takes a holistic and personalised approach to treatment, helping patients achieve long-term comfort, stability and improved quality of life.
In 2017, Sarika founded Platinum Dental Care with the vision of creating a modern, welcoming practice where patients feel listened to, valued and genuinely cared for. She has carefully built a team that shares her philosophy of exceptional clinical standards, kindness and personalised care.
Committed to remaining at the forefront of modern dentistry, Sarika has invested heavily in the latest technology to improve both diagnosis and patient experience. Platinum Dental Care features advanced digital workflows, 3D intraoral scanners, CBCT imaging and AI-powered diagnostic software, including Pearl AI, allowing patients to better understand their oral health while supporting precise, evidence-based treatment planning.
Beyond clinical dentistry, Sarika is passionate about mentoring and supporting fellow dental professionals. She is the founder of Flourish as a Female – In Dentistry, a self-leadership programme designed to empower female clinicians in both their personal and professional development. Her work has led to invitations to lecture at national dental conferences, appear on leading dental podcasts and contribute to industry interviews focused on leadership, wellbeing and professional growth.
