6 month smiles is a fixed tooth coloured brace that is glued onto the fronts of your teeth. It is discreet as it is a tooth coloured wire with tooth coloured brackets. It’s a very quick and efficient way to move teeth into a better position. It doesn’t alter the way you speak and you don’t have to keep taking it out when you eat. Surprise surprise it takes roughly 6 months to straighten but our dentists will be able to give you a better estimate of the time it will take at your free consultation.

What is the process involved? Well we take moulds of your teeth, send them to the 6 month smiles laboratories in America, 3 weeks later we will glue them onto your teeth and then we see you every month until your teeth are straight. It’s as simple as that.

Inman aligner is a removable brace fantastic at straightening the front four teeth. It takes anywhere between 3-6 months to straighten your teeth with adjustment appointments every 2 weeks. It can affect your speech but our clients love it as they can take it out if they need to speak on the phone or have a meeting or presentation.

It must be worn at least 20 hours a day for it to work.

Invisalign is a very well known American system which relies on a series of aligners (plastic removable trays) to gradually straighten your teeth. They are the most discreet of all the systems as the aligners are completely clear. The dentist will see you every 4-6 weeks for any adjustments and you will be given your spa lingers to change every 2 weeks.

The biggest advantage of this system is that it is the most discreet brace of the ones we have described and it is removable for you to keep your oral hygiene immaculate.

It takes anywhere between 9-16 months to finish treatment depending on the severity of your crowding.
